Yellow orchids,
smile in the sunshine –
my heart is spring,
my soul is alive.
Green leaves embrace me,
wrap around me like angel wings,
and for a moment,
I am fed by the light.
Photosynthesis,
changes me from the inside out,
beautifies me,
and makes me stronger.
Wisdom comes with years,
but here in this light,
of yellow orchids,
I find intense joy,
growing deep inside me.
