Morning Light

The ocean calmly beats,
the steady rocks on the shore,
where my naked feet wait,
to be kissed by the stream.
My heart dances in the waves,
as the sun rises at the horizon,
and the first birds fly overhead,
as a sign of a new day.
Seashells scattered across the beach,
shimmer in the sun light,
like little clumps of gold,
waiting to be treasured and admired.
My heart finds peace,
in the silence of this morning,
where the bustle of the city,
is a million miles away,
so, I stay a little longer.
The first people walk passed me,
searching for the same serenity,
I have been looking for,
in the early hours of the morning,
so, I smile at them,
as a hopeful encouragement,
to never stop searching.
I look into the sun,
and I am almost blinded by her light,
but I smile again,
at the great familiarity,
that trickles like rain into my heart
I cannot catch the light,
and store it in my heart,
I can only capture it,
and pass it on,
into the world,
as a sign of hope,
in the early morning.

Ocean Life

Ocean Life

Her heart is like an ocean without life,
a deep black pool of nothing,
who hungers for a coral reef,
for turtles and fish in her sea.
She hungers for surfers and swimmers,
for boats sailing on her surface.
She hungers for birds in the sky,
that hunt for flying fish,
jumping out of her water.
She hungers for someone,
to touch her skin until he sinks in,
deep into the her essence.
She longs for understanding,
the problems that she brings,
because so many ruined her waters,
that she, herself, does not know,
how she really has to swim,
inside her own water reflection.
She longs for someone,
who will take the time,
to dive deep inside of her,
exploring ever corner of,
her deep sea levels and coral reefs,
researching the way to take care of her,
when she can no longer do it herself.
She longs for children,
playing at the shore,
dipping their little feet,
in her shallow waters,
until they learn how to swim,
and they embrace her,
with joy and laughter.
Her heart longs for life,
in that deep black pool of nothing,
that never seems to end.
And until then she dreams,
of a life she has never seen,
that is waiting for her,
beyond the horizon.

Riding the waves

Riding the waves

The waves rise and fall,
washing ashore the white foam,
creating rainbows in the sky.

The load beatings of the waves,
hitting the unmovable rocks,
numb my ears until their deaf.

Today is the perfect day,
to ride the stormy waves,
on the bluest ocean I have ever seen.

My hands become one with the water,
moving me from place to place,
until there is absolutely no escape.

An adrenaline rush,
is your heart exploding with pure joy,
as your stomach somersaults with delight.

With my board steady underneath my feet,
I move the water and the water moves me,
until I am in an endless tunnel.

Today is the perfect day,
to ride the stormy waves,
on the bluest ocean I have ever seen.
